Jeff could have been up front for the last 3 laps instead. He might not have won the race, but he would probably be in the chase instead. Well 3 out of 4 Hendrick cars made it in.

Next week is the start of the chase at Chicagoland Speedway for the Geico 400, starting at 2pm Sunday.

yes noticed that. don't think they'll go back on it now, but you never know. Nascar says Menard hit Carl so they're allowing it. even the announcers were commenting on that it shouldn't have made a difference. Carl should have been black fl&gged.

Kind of ridiculous, the only action they penalized was for Vickers and Norris, Bowyer's spin was not intentional....Ha Ha Ha Ha. Nice one Helton!!!
I have lost all respect for Clint, lost all respect for Michael when he cheated his first time on track as owner. No black fl ag for Edwards jumping restart. And the chase still sucks...this is the type of crap Brian France has created with this debacle. Now we get to watch 10 boring races with Chase drivers riding around complaining "He's not in the chase, why is he racing up front" two tier racing.

Enough of my ranting... :-)

FOX Sports has exclusively learned of improper communications Saturday night during NASCAR's Sprint Cup race at Richmond between David Gilliland's No. 38 team and Joey Logano's No. 22 team that helped Logano earn final spot in Chase for Sprint Cup.
NASCAR is looking into the issue and it could lead to another shakeup in the Chase.
