Carl had nudged the left rear of Jeff's car & that's why he spun
Carl claims that Jeff slowed down in front of him. Sure that's not the way Jeff remembers it.
Dave Blaney also received some damage in that altercation between Carl & Jeff.
ooops, Carl better watch himself, Jeff isn't too happy. A lot of what he said couldn't be repeated.
Jimmie, Kyle & Matt the top 3.
Travis & Ricky appear to have also received some damage.
At the green, Jimme takes off, leaving Kyle & Joey to battle for 2nd.
Kyle gets 2nd followed by Matt in 3rd. Joey is getting shuffled back to 9th after staying in the outside line.
Lap 25-Kyle takes over the lead & Matt follows thru for 2nd.
JGR cars 1st, 2nd, 4th while HMS, 2nd & 5th. the other 2 are outside the top 10.
Jimmie & Matt's pit stalls are next to each other. The 2 of them have been friendly battling each other all weekend during practice runs. Kyle has never won at Martinsville. Jimmie has lead the most laps here with over 2100 & has won 7 times. The next closet lap leader is Jeff, with over 1400 laps & 7 wins.
Matt now leads the race followed by Jimmie, Kyle & Jeff in 4th.
Jeff goes by Kyle for 3rd.
