Well here we are in sunny California for the start of today's race, the Auto Club 400. There getting ready to sing the National Anthem. Denny Hamlin has been hospitalized with a severe sinus infection that is affecting his vision. Sam Hornish Jr just got the call to drive for him.

Sam just happen to be at the track because he was a stand in for Matt, who's wife is expecting a rodent. Hopefully, she can & the rodent can wait till after the race.
