Good grief! Talk about flying under the radar. notpc told me he heard something about a Thrifty Foods going in there somewhere just east of Walmart at Capilano Mall. I was just in that new development on Sunday while scrounging for coupons at the new Pricesmart and I sure didn't see a Thrifty Foods! It must have been under wraps.

So, are we on meeting #14? North Vancouver? Or momofkali's choice? Anywhere is fine with me. I was thinking that if it was North Vancouver then maybe a good place would be the food fair at Capilano Mall. Then everyone could check out the new Thrifty Foods just to the east of the mall. There's also Pricesmart and Walmart nearby.

Okey dokey... in the absence of any other ideas then I'm suggesting our next meeting be in North Vancouver at Capilano Mall food court, 2:00 PM, Saturday Oct.30th.

I know it might be too far for some people but we haven't had a meeting on the North Shore yet and trucker had the idea to slate one there. No matter where we meet, it's more convenient for some people and less convenient for others.

This weekend is also Redplum coupon insert in your papers! I don't normally pick them up until Sunday in the Province paper but if anybody gets some extras early, 'twould be nice to have a few at the meeting.

As I mentioned before, if you can make the meeting then it might make sense to also take a bit of time before or after and check out the new Thrifty Foods that just opened last weekend. It's just east of Capilano Mall, about a two minute walk. There's also a Pricesmart and Bed Bath and Beyond in the same development.

So, unless anyone has any last minute meeting time/venue change requests, I'll be there, with my white cap on. If anyone new is coming, just look for a table (or two) with a million coupons on them and me in my white cap (that says Provincetown on it).

Sorry I totally missed this. This past weekend was no good for me either way as it was my 10 year anniversary and had 3 kids to take to all the Halloween goodies.

Don't let me pick a place, my life is too crazy and I may not be able to make it anyway.
