Vancouver and area meetings

We are the Vancouver Coupon Group. Free to join and any age. Currently we have members who range from 19 to 50+. There is no cost, no obligation and we do the following:
Bi weekly meetings. Have coffee, chat about the latest or upcoming deals, share stories of shopping good and bad, share our unwanted coupons that we bring with us in envelopes, boxes, bags, envelopes and coupon binders. Everyone gets a chance to go through everyone else's coupons.

We also hold fun events which we will be getting into as we start to approach our sixth month anniversary (see mcminsen affair thread). Whether your a lurker, a member of SC or a member of another board, your invited to attend our meetings.

We are now approaching the end of our Second year and it has seen a tremendous growth and turnout with many new groups starting up elsewhere. From our first meetings with 3 members showing up in early 2010, we are now almost in 2012 and growing more than ever. Thanks for all your help couponers!

Well, I can't let truckerofbc be the only guy so if it's okay to keep it co-ed, I'm in. I'm totally flexible with whatever time. I'm traveling by transit but I'm sure whatever location is chosen should be no problem. Looking forward to it!

Seems we have 2 convenient locations right accessible to Pacific Centre Mall with a Timmy's conveniently close by.

Can anyone meet at the Tim Hortons at Level 2 Pender Street @ Pacific Centre Mall around 10AM Saturday April 17th? (Wil give everyone time to have all their brandsavers, websavers, smartsource sorted, etc). We can talk and chat for an hour, exchange some coupons, take a trip to shoppers en masse and get our free sample of Michael Kors at the Beauty Boutique (I'm a guy, but it makes a great stocking stuffer) and hit up London Drugs for Price Matching, Coupon Hunting and then we can say our goodbyes and make another appointment at another location 2 weeks later. I would estimate this event would take no longer than 2.5-3 hours. (1 hour to meet and greet, exchange, have a cafe)(45 min to walk and do shoppers)(45 min to walk and do LD).

This is my wishlist for anyone who has them if we can all add our little wishlist we can then have them ready in envelopes for each other....all coupons I am looking for are older versions which haven't expired yet...not current P&G.

Hey trucker, you can get the Iris 25 free AM on the AM website, in the deals and promotions section. Iris is just across the street from the Tim's on Pender, so theres another quick trip. I can just see 15 of us trooping in with our AM coupons, LOL. I can't make it this time, but will watch for the next one. A suggestion is Brentwood Mall because its got a skytrain station, LD, Bay, Zellers and not to shabby dollar store.

We can do Brentwood Mall the following couple of weeks after...maybe a meeting every 2 weeks or something like that and we'll rotate through the GVRD (Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster, Surrey, Richmond)
