Yes, Only with a warranty and from a store that allows refunds. Not XS Cargo I've had nothing but garbage from there when it comes to electronics. I like if for other stuff though.

I tend to stay away from any mechanical items that are refurbs (such as vacuum cleaners) but other stuff I think is fine.

I've bought refurbished in the past and never had problems. Remember that if you pay by credit card, some cards come with double warranty coverage. They won't know if it is refurbished unless you tell them.

I have bought some items refurbished. My laptop was refurbished and it was still in the original box with not a scratch on it, No idea how it could have been used.
I would consider it if the price was right. I know I did buy a refurbished digital camera once and it was glitchy but I think it was more the camera's design that it was the refurbished part of it.
I think you have a mich better chance with reburbished items that don't get alot of wear so that parts run out of like. A floor model computer is used pretty heavily so it would not be my first choice.

Apple products are the only thing I ll buy refurbished from apple online since they come with full warranty.
