i signed up, but i can't bid until i give my bank account info.
is there any way past this because that just isn't going to happen.

It is either your banking info or your phone number. There is no way around it if you want to spend your points. They do it to ensure people don't have multiple accounts. I did it with paypal and they charge you $1 but you also get an extra 10 credits.

I gave neither. I'll never be a "verified" member, but who cares? I've been able to spend my points no problem. Also done listings. I think I actually started with a listing (icoke points)

i assume there are only certain things you can bid on if you aren't verified?
i know i couldn't bid on any gifts to grow points -and they are why i joined.

also - how did you multi quote like that?
i can't figure it out.

To multi quote - use the mulit quote button instead of the regular quote button, then for the last post you want to quote use just the quote button.

For example if you want to reply to 3 posts, the hit the multi quote button for 2 and then just the quote button for the 3rd one.

WTH?? ok kinda confused since when does listia want that? I haven't checked mine lately... but if this is the case I will just shut my listia down....

Maybe it's only for new accounts, I had to verify before I could bid on my account (it accepted my phone number), but the friend who gave me the referral to listia didn't have to verify at all.

Yeah it asked me to verify mine with a credit card account too. I just gave up on it.
