ohh yes i LOVE the book Eric.. the show Eric is good very sexy but the the book Eric.. mmm yum! i love his personality in the book... Bill is too possessive for my liking

I totally agree, I love his personality in the books too! Especially after Dead to the World. That book really made me fall in love with him!

ohh yes dead to the world was a great one.. though i think the whole Eric love comes from probably book 2 and builds in book 3 i love the "thats my future lover" line!

i do think sookie and Eric are a much better match over sookie and bill.. yes bill brought her into the world of the vampires and mythical creatures (he was her door in, since she'd neve rbe part of any of it if she didn't meet/date him) but Eric understands her more, and she understands Eric..

i blame their "understanding" each other on the blood connection.
i really loved bill & sookie together..possessive or not..he's just protective.

yes they have the blood connection BUT Eric understood sookie and sookie Eric before the blood connection.. in book 2 there was a connection which just builds through the series.. Eric was naturally attracted to sookie from the first book afterall.. who saved sookie from Longshadow in the first book... ERIC!!

because he knows she is worth something..her abilities! hes just in it for that..so is Bill I guess..queen's orders. eh men!

I think Sookie and Eric have had FAR more chemistry in the books than Bill and Sookie ever did. Plus look at all the crappy things Bill ended up doing to her...

Also, Eric's character is so much more multifaceted than Bill. Bill is kinda like a one note wonder, theres not much too him overall. Eric has layers and layers, and I just want to peel them back

To each her own of course, its just my opinion.

Eric knew there was something about her that was different.. that intrigued him about her, she was different... he's been there for her..he's noticed things that bill didn't.. and hey.. when you kill someone together it kinda creates a bond lol
