I have thick, bushy, very dry, frizzy, flyaway hair that I straighten once a week.
Google ACV hair rinse (apple cider vinegar)

I have very thick, somewhat dry and curly hair. I've tried lots of stuff, but so far the best solution has been to use the Phytum hair masque (not conditioner) by Yves Rocher every two days.

So a few things I know work for others.
Try washing every once in a while with only baking soda. Get a few tablespoons, make a paste and work it through your hair, leave on a min and rinse out.
My husband swears by Mane n Tail. He adds jsut a touch after he gets out of the shower to his damp hair. Keeps his poofy hair shiny and manageable.Keep it carbed......

Absolutely to a good henna.
And an oil massage will really hydrate the hair.

I use infusium 23 repair and renew for dry/ frizzy/ damaged hair. As I have the most unruly damaged and frizzy/thick hair ever. And I find it works wonders! It is a bit on the expensive side bout 12$ at walmart and it is a spray as well. But it might help.

In the past, I have used Silk, Infusion 23 and many other leave in gloss. The best one is the Moroccan Oil. I put the mask on once a week and the oil daily...all you need is about a loonie size for shoulder length hair. It is the best. A little pricey about $75.00 for both but worth every penny and lasts about a year. My hair is shiny for once and manageable with a healthy look. I buy it from Trade Secret or any hair salon that may carry these items.

I am Blonde naturally but I get multiple shades of highlights put in my hair so that can be stressful to my hair so once a month with a trim I get a protein treatment from my stylist. I also started using the 'It's a 10" product line which is awesome! especially the the leave in conditioner which makes my hair very shiny and soft !

We have different hair types but I started using Shu Uemura hair products and they are AMAZING. I have to buy online but it's totally worth it. I've never used anything that made my hair look as good.

I've always had problems with my hair. Naturally curly, and lots of it. I've tried numerous shampoos, conditioners, treatments, and even washing/getting my hair wet less.
The only thing I have noticed over the course of a few years travelling around is that water makes a huge difference. I stayed somewhere on a spring fed well, and my hair was amazing, and now I'm somewhere with water so overly chlorinated that I have to filter my drinking water, and using the same products my hair is awful. I know they sell filters for showers, but no idea if they are worth the money.

don't have any product recommendations since we have different hair types but there's a tip to maximize the effect of your conditioner. wash your hair first in the shower then condition but wait until the end of the shower to rinse it out. i do this when my hair gets damaged from blow-drying and the straightener
