Agree with you, momg, the above users all had three posts or less as of today Aug 4. I am in favor of helping the SC community, but not passers-by. How do we know they aren't going to grab their PIN and never give back?

Agree with the idea of using a minimum post count.

Not being mean, I just think that our longer-standing members have earned a right to have first crack at our good freebies.

Yeah I had people tell me they are lurkers and they had never posted and been members longer then me asking for a pin. It is nice if at least you try to contribute when you want something in return.

You can usually tell by the join date how long they have been members at least lol... Not sure how lurking for years is supposed to be a plus
