this is on a plaque(she keeps it on stove shelf) I gave my mom years ago:

Just got done celebrating Mother's Day with my mom

16 years without my mom but now I'm 29 and have 2 boys that are 19 months and 3 weeks old and we had a great mothers day!

I did nothing yesterday!! OK that is a lie, I did make breakfast and dinner, but that was all. The kids let me stay in my room and read all day. They didn't even bug for for lunch, they found something to eat. (Chips and popcorn I think LOL) They didn't fight all day which is a big bonus.

They gave me a $50 gift card to Coles, so I can buy more books!! Woo Hoo!

All in all it was a great day!

On Saturday we planed all the dinners for the week and went and did the shopping. We even got the meals planned for the next week that they are with me. (one week with me one with their Father). So now we know what we will be having for dinnef and they can't complain because they did the picking. Now all I have to do is get them to start cooking!!
