I think this is okay, it involves AirMiles not coupons.
My local Sobeys has Hunt's Tomato Paste (156ml) on sale for .59 (reg $1.19). Not bad. But I saw on the sign that if you buy 5 cans you get 25 AirMiles. 25!!
So I bought 30 = 150 AirMiles. I redeem my Airmiles for Sobeys GCs. 140 = $20. So 150 = $21.40.
So I spent $17.70 to get $21.40 worth of AirMiles. So that makes the 30 cans of tomato paste completely free plus Sobeys paid me $3.70 to take them off their hands!

Forgot to pick up sugar so I had to run back up to Sobeys. Couldn't help myself, had to pick up 10 more cans of tomato paste. We use about 3-4 cans a week so I've got enough now for nearly 3 months. I checked and the sale price and the AirMiles promo are locked in until May 27. I'll wind up buying tomato paste for everyone I know over the next couple of weeks, lol.

If you run out of things to do with it you can always donate some to the foodbank. getting paid to donate food is sweet.
