What is this about a pin?
A real deal. I signed up in February.
No, I mean why is it asking for a pin? I don't have a pin for my phone.
The 4 digit PIN is any 4 digit number you choose for using Dialbug service, say 1234 or 5678.
When you've opened your account, you can set up some phone numbers that do not require a PIN when dialing, e.g. your home phone number, your cellphone number or your work phone number.
But in case you're using someone else's phone or you're using a public phone & want to use Dialbug to dial long distance, you'll have to enter this 4 digit PIN chosen by yourself to access your Dialbug service. This protects your account from unauthorized use.
Hope this helps.
AH!
Hopefully, this will work long distance. Does anyone know?
Yep, I've called Manitoba, China, Hong Kong, Switzerland & Singapore.
SWEET!!! Thanks!
Do they send an actual card so you can use it from any phone or just home phone with your pin #?
They don't send you a card, you need to register your phone number...
now I need to go and call my girlfriend, visiting her mom in Chicago!
