Today I`m thankful for my parents, who are far more active in their 70s than I ever was in my 20s, & who insisted on cleaning my place top to bottom. Of course, now I`m gonna have to spend all day tomorrow trying to figure out where my Mom put everything.

I`m also thankful for the nice folks I`ve met on SC. So nice to know there are lots of caring people in this world.

breathing easier and sooooo thankful a friend of mine got out of the building she works at by the WCB building safely where some guy went in with a rifle and is holding people hostage. No word yet on whether it has ended yet but I am soooo thankful she is out and safe. I hope the hostages get out safe too.

I am thankful that I got to talk to my sister in hospital in another town, on the phone this afternoon. She is still very weak( I hear it in her voice) and she received two more pints of blood last evening and night. Just being able to talk to her makes me feel better.

My husbands surgery is over, and it went really well.

I'm thankful that the weather channel's forecast continues to be wrong... as in, it's not as bad as they were saying it was going to be. Keeping fingers crossed and umbrella at the ready.
