$330 & everybody is Happy (what a state of mind we have reached). We will end up paying a lot more than $330 we have received in the new HST (a day light robbery being done by Govt of Ontario & BC).
When a child cries- give him a candy: so everybody received their first candy $330.

Whether we like it or not, the HST is coming into effect July 1st. The HST is also coming into effect in BC on July 1st. BC gets $0 to help out with the additional costs, Ontario gets $1000/family or $300/individual. I will happily take my $1000 "transition" cheque (from the taxes I have paid the government over the years). I could care less if it's a "bribe" or "candy" they're offering...it's money, and every little bit will help.

HST = Sales tax. Cut back on consumerist spending and you have no problem. To be honest, since I cut my spending habits in half and really analyze anything before I buy it, most of the stuff that gets thrown in the "eff that, I don't need it that bad" pile, have sales taxes on it. By not buying "things" and an excess of things, I beat the tax man. People just *really* need to reconsider the material items they buy that have taxes on them.
