Has anyone in the GTA had laser eye surgery done?
If yes, can you tell me which clinic you went to and whether you recommend it?
I'm scared poopless! Looking for some feedback.

Do you do any exercises to relieve eye strain? At least once an hour, take a minute to look away from the screen & focus on something in the distance. It sounds silly, but it actually does make a huge difference.

I dunno, hon, you've only got the two eyeballs...if God forbid something goes wrong, it's not like they can just replace them for you.
There are loads of exercises available online (ironically enough). And if you want a referral to a top-notch guy, my eye doctor looks after the Leafs. He's worth the wait.

My ex had it done, at the place at Yonge & Eglinton, it went super well, his recovery was easy, and he ended up with better than normal eyesight and no side effects.

Thanks guys. Had the consult yesterday with the yonge/eg folks, next Tuesday is the second consult, this time with Lasik MD.
Looks like I am going to have the surgery on Friday. Send any extra brave/courageous thoughts my way, because I'm a bit of a wreck.
FallenPixels, did you find out the name of the place that screwed up?Add me on twitter and I'll add you back! Just mention you are from SC!

OMG!
I wanted to get my done but my eye doctor recommend against it because he said I am the GENIUS that my eye sight still changes after 18 (YAY!)
He told me don't go for the cheap one, and in another few years if I decided to go with it, it will cost me at LEAST $5,000. Um.....
Good Luck! IF anything happens to you, I promise I will sort coupons and organize them for you! Now does that make you feel better? or worse.....

I recently had mine done at Lasik MD in London at the end of May. Let me tell you it's AWESOME! I can see better now than I ever did with glasses or contacts. The recovery time is short, I could see better immediately but my eyes were sensitive for a few hours. Sorry I can't give you a recommendation for your area but I can tell you I'm very happy with the procedure.
