What happened?

I am completely unsure of what's going on here. :shrug:

I can't post comments on smartcanucks.ca anymore. Not this forum, but the main page, the blog.

I did notice that one of my posts said it was being moderated before it was posted. I posted again a little while later on the same thread... it posted... someone replied saying they didn't know why it said moderated. My post was still visible at that time, to me, about being moderated. It's now gone, and THAT post was never posted.

I tried to reply a few times about the Arby's $1.43 deal (as I had an interesting issue with it that may be useful to SC).... nothing. People have replied since I tried. So I went into other threads I posted in before this ordeal and I can't post anything. Doesn't say it's being moderated, just refreshes and doesn't show my post, at all.

What's up???

Edit 1: Just posted with another email address and different name... that worked...

Edit 2: Changed email back and used the different name. Did NOT work.

So I assume some sort of blockage on my email? Or??

I just did... same thing. Won't take my main email address, but will take another one I have. When I use my main email, it reloads the WHOLE page. When I use another email, it automatically posts my comment... doesn't seem to refresh, just add in the comment so nicely... as it had up until recently with my main email.

A few other people were having this problem last week and posted about it on the forum. What browser are you using? Have you tried deleting your user history/cookies?

* Edit I took a look and from what I can tell all your comments that have gone through were marked as approved. So that means there not going through at all, not to moderated or spam... Boo?

Tried this AM... posted under my old email... interesting indeed, lol.

it "ate" at least 5 of my comments over the last few weeks as well. I use google chrome i have no idea if maybe it's not set up properly for that because it's relatively new?

I think its just a blip in the system to be honest, especially since its happening to random people.

Aight, good to know it's nothing personal. I guess fear got the worst of me, lol.

At least if it happens again I know what to do... put in my other email, lol! Not even sure I remember the password, haha. Hmm.

Hehehe no we only block spammers and certain words go into moderation to be approved :)
