Gift Baskets for a Shelter

Every summer I go up to my mom's house for a week away from the city.

I have done many animal shelter/rescue donations, but have wanted to do a donation to a women's shelter. However I have been worried about the number of quantities of stuff I have. I wanted to make a basket for each person at a shelter and so I lucked out when I found out the women's shelter up in my mom's small town has a maximum capacity of 10 women.

So I made 10 gift baskets that I will drop off sometime next week when I'm up there.

I hope they survive 3 hours in the car - some of the cellophane is already coming untaped. Noooo.

Very lovely, I have started to gather up items for donation as well, but I just have them loosy goosey in a crate that I will take home (need to keep) I hope they still appreciate the items though. Your donations/basket put mine to shame for sure. I only really started using coupons in may before then I just used some if I found them. Now I wait for a sale and use coupons and stack at LD and have saved big $$$ and can even do donations now whereas before never would I have dreamed it to be possible
