unable to edit status

hey everyone,

I couldn't find any issue like this in older threads and a couple mods I've asked for help have been stumped as well.

I can't seem to update or delete my status at all... hence the outdated thanks for the SC nomination that I've been carrying around since, well, the nominations. any attempt to update/delete gives me only the "cancel" button and doesn't respond to pressing enter or any other changes I make. hoping someone can help me out! my status is stuck in the past.

have you tried changing it in your user cp instead of with the edit button on a post? Thats how I had to do mine last time

yeah, numerous times but only to have the exact same issue... the little box pops up with only the "cancel" button. odd, eh? do you mean on my profile or is there another place in the user cp to edit?

actually the modify status button is working from my post now lol

nice, go go gadget status! though mine's still giving me a hard time. thanks for the earlier suggestion though, fallen. it seems to have the same issue any way I approach it.

Weird, I just changed my status and change it regularly.. I wish I could just remove it completely. So yours is for some reason not working like everyone else's?

No hers doesnt work at all. I can edit anyones status on sc but hers has no "modify status" button.

Yes for sure its most likely a blip in the system.

Ya you have to fill it in.. I don't want to fill in it at all. Once you enter something, you can't go back.
