Did anyone watch Dr Oz last week? there is a whole list of gluten items in body wash,make up,shampoos,creams etc... I was shocked!!! The mascara that I have been using everyday has wheat in it! My eyes have been hurting since the summer...I have stopped using it and it seem a little better all ready?
Anyway if you go to dr oz web site you can print out the whole list (I carry this with me now)
I am off to find Dove body wash coupons since it is one of the only ones gluten free

Yes Abby, some shampoos contain wheat germ oil- i even mean non organic and non natural kind of products- main stream. Watch the toothpaste too.

Crest and dove are both gf...so that is where I started! There s a list of about 60 different gluten containing ingredients that can be in beauty products...I had no idea!!!

I have been missing from this thread for a wee bit but here is a cake that Jack and I baked today. It is a Gluten-Free Strawberry Cream Cheese Strawberry Cake.

This was an answer from the company about the Pro Health Rinse, although the Pro Health Toothpaste is Gluten free it seemed that they could not guarantee that the rinse was.
"Our Crest raw material ingredients are proprietary and aren't shared outside the company. Since you're sensitive to gluten, you may not want to use Crest Pro Health Rinse."
We seemed to have different answers from the same company.

I did get some good news about buying Lunch meats. All of Buddigs Meats are Gluten free and I emailed the company to find out where I could buy them. They sent me several FREE coupons and said I could get them at most of the Co-op stores and all Superstores. Makes lunchtime more varied now.

Went to the best GF restaurant....it is all gf cannot even order gluten!! It is in Uxbridge, Ontario ...called Frankie they also have a bakery!!!!
