Unwanted Google search page - SOLVED!! :)

So, in my son's wanderings on the internet, he has allowed something onto the computer which brings up Google search pages x 2. These are very pretty pages, with nice scenery on them.

They pop up automatically. I can't figure out how to get rid of them permanently. I'm not very computer savvy, but if someone could give me step-by-step instructions, I can get the job done.

Thanks, Sally! I guess I should have gone past the next page. They seem to be gone for now. We'll see if they stay away.
