my house is a bit tense right now with some stuff thats happened recently and im finding that when i try and sleep all my worries come to me and i just get really sad

Sorry about your situation, nighttime is usually the worst time for most people. Perhaps it is time to see your therapist again.

Maybe the adjustment hasn't worked out.
From my own experience, I have discovered that sometimes adjustments
make matters worse.

it hasnt had tome to take effect yet. it usually takes a couple of weeks. he also said school may be making me nervous. i have an exam tommorow and one next week and an essay for two weeks

anyone heard of cipralex????? After years of up and downs I was diagnosed with chonic depression , I am just relived that finally someone heard me .....I was on Paxil last time now on this.....for life...anyone else on these????

Sorry I haven't heard of nor been on those specific drugs. However I am glad you were heard.

DH has been on a new medication for the last 5 or 6 months and he's like a new man.

Prior to that he was on a different medication that was literally making him crazy. We both thought he was severely bi-polar only to discover the cycling stopped entirely when he quit that medication. Boy was that ever upsetting to know he went through all that for nothing.

In any case, he's doing quite well now and I am happy to have my hubby back

hi guys, I personally have never suffered from Depression but everyone asks me if I am and if I have gotten medical help. I guess my personality makes people think I am depressed. I am sorry for those who are suffering and I hope and pray you get better

I'm pretty sure I do, do who wouldn't when everyone thinks your are fat because you are lazy and eat to much, yet know you have a tumour in you head that plays wit h all your horomones.

i was diagnosed to be depressed , at a very hard time of my life and i was very young as well, around 15. I was on medication, which made me feel considerably well , based on what i was going through.

to be very honest with you medication for depression isnt something you would want to get used to, but honetly sometimes its crucial and NEEDED.

I got pregnant and had a new ray of light to look forward to, so i stopped my medication cold turkey. I wasnt on it for too long, but it did take me some motivation to stop taking it.

Try to build a support team for ur self, soemthing as a "go to" when ur feeling ur having a bad day. doesnt have to be a team can be 1 person. Personally i would recommend it not to be family and friends, choose someone who will not be judging you , preferebly a counsellor.

SC is such a place to find support when you need it. However, if you need medication get it, there is no shame in doing so. I say this as much to myself as to anyone.

i just had a massive fight with other members of my family and there is a lot of bad tension around my house now and i feel like crap, like for some reason my life has become a twisted joke being played on me, with no reason to anything.
