Got mine finally! It took FOREVER to get them.
For anyone wondering how to tell if you have received the 2500 points, login to your account, and it will show up like attached photo below:

i wasn't sure if mine went in so I called SDM today and it's good I checked...they were not awarded! the CSR says the 2500 pts should be added within the hour. so glad i read this thread again and was reminded to ask! thanks all
Checked my total SDM points and noticed that I rec'd them too!!!! Yay!!!
