I am looking for an electric fan, preferable what is called a box fan for around $30 or less in Halifax.
I have tried Zeller's (cole harbour), Superstore(barrington), Canadian Tire (quinpool) and Walmart (mumford). There were no fans. Canadian tire had $100 fan's left, but that is way out of my price range.
If you see any fan's please let me know.Try out the maven box by julep And code FREEFB, and get your box for one cent:

Box fan? I'm not sure what that is. I bought a floor-standing fan at Walmart (Dartmouth Crossing) 2 weeks ago. I think it was $18 of something. Works great and is quiet.

Call before you go. I think you might be able to also check at walmart.ca to get the stock code number for when you call.

DS dropped and broke DH's box fan and we've been looking for a replacement too. DH did the same thing, drove around to every store and empty shelves everywhere. We'll find one in December. I'll let you know if I find one.

Yeah our box fan fell out of the patio door, into the apartment and it managed to break off one of the blades. I really miss it. It was better than air conditioning. It would just cool the whole place down if it was put in the window...oh well, for $30 it lasted 5 years.
