Lays Chip Trips brag - $230 in savings on hotel and kayaking

Money's tight right now, but my wife and I wanted to get away for the weekend and take a break.

Lays Chip Trips to the rescue.

We cashed in our points to get a BOGO 50% off at a Comfort Inn in Kingston (savings: $65.00), plus a BOGO free for a half-day kayaking trip in nearby Gananoque (savings: $85.00).

And as luck/fate would have it, there weren't enough people to justify the half day kayaking trip, so the owner offered to let us go on the full day trip for no extra cost (savings: another $80.00). The full day tour included a great lunch, also at no charge.

So we did some relaxing and sightseeing, got some exercise and fresh air and saved $230 to boot. It was a great weekend.
