I have a subscription. I used various points (Aeroplan, HBC, etc) to get subscriptions for free to a number of Canadian magazines! It's a great way to use the points to get free reading material and free coupons!!

Yes the magazine can be bought in stores.

Mine came in a plastic wrap with the extra coupon booklet. I'm not sure if the same applies to those bought in stores.

I bought the sept issue because I wasn't paying attention. My daughter enjoyed it though.
