RBC Rewards now has SDM gift cards

I don't know how long they've been on there, but RBC Rewards now offers SDM gift cards.

I don't think I'll be using my RBC points for those, since I like getting Optimum points when I buy my gift cards.

Speaking of which, there were rumours that the points on SDM gift cards were going to be discontinued in September. Anybody know yet if that's true? I bought my bus passes with a GC the last week of August, still got points on the GCs at that point.

Yup I got the mailer with my VISA bill
Price wise, seem to be same value as other RBC "Rewards" And can verify, only as at August 31, still got the points on GC purchases, so we'll see what the next few weeks brings...

I don't get a paper Visa bill, so didn't know until I happened to glance through the rewards. Sometimes the GCs go on sale, so I go in and look around from time to time!
