No, I don't see the point in antagonizing anyone. This whole thing in the states is all based on fear. Those bible thumping preachers in the states are scary. I wouldn't want to have anything to do with them.

Of course not, and the pastor starting all of this ruckus is an idjit. Even the thought of it is disrespectful and distasteful. Each religion's sacred books have a right to be protected and respected.
That situation is going to end very badly.
I wish the media would just ignore the nitwit. A couple of dozen nitwits do something idiotic & all of a sudden they're front & centre in every media outlet.
I think an awful lot of so-called journalists need to go back to school & learn about ethics.
So true, everyone....how one narrow-minded individual can create such a ruckus and put the lives of soldiers on the line absolutely boggles my mind! I heard this morning that the fire department will be there to enforce the 'no burning anything other than twigs, etc' law, but simply igniting that book will do enough damage.
On the other hand.....Muslims who believe that the actions of one simple-minded man is a reflection of an entire society need to be educated also.
Andi, I so agree with you....this didn't need to be made public. It's been given far too much attention, when it just could have been one man in a lonely field lighting a book.

The Koran/Quran is a book that speaks extensivly about Adam and Eve, Jesus, Mary, Abraham, David, Solomon, Job, Lot, Moses, Isaac, Ismael, Jacob and many more.
Mary, Noah and Abraham each have their own entire chapter in the book.
Maybe he should crack it open and check it out, he seems to have already built up a stash of them. The guy's nuts!
