I found a site that wants to make an online shopping currency.
I signed up with an e-mail that I use for junk sign-ups because I'm not too certain about this site yet. But right now, you get $50 for signing up before they officially launch, $20 a day and $5 for each referral.

    The site is http://www.paybox.me

If you want you can use my referral link:.

Sign-up at your own discretion. It does sound like one of those sites that bring uncertainty. To tell the truth, I don't know much about this site, but if anyone does, let me know if it could be a scam. I did not use a personal e-mail, so I don't need to worry about them finding any personal information form my account.

    Sounds interesting.
    Thanks for the info!
Found this link that gives more detail

You'll have to wait it out and see if it ends up being viable.
I guess they have to get certain large companies on board willing to use this as an alternative way to pay for stuff online etc.

I'm sure the money/credits you earn will all depend on how extensive they can get people involved which will equal "advertising" money - a percentage of that goes back to users (?).

They might not launch for quite awhile though.

They aren't expected to launch until sometime in 2011, and you have to log in basically daily. If you don't log in for two days, your payments will be suspended, and if you don't log in for one week, your account is terminated.

There's a lot of buzz about this right now. Those dollars are not U.S. dollars, so I wouldn't get too excited. As far as I can see, they have not yet disclosed what the actual value of their 'dollars' is. Their terms of service are definitley something you should read carefully and understand before investing yourself too much here. Doesn't look like a 'scam' per se, but make sure you know what you are agreeing too and what you risk. These are just a few blogs written by people who have already done the research:

I'm just a bit leery about this site and it to me does not look anything like PayPal. I'm gonna pass signing up for this.
    Thanks though

I'm not sure your referral link works as it just goes to the main page when you click on it, but I'll give it a shot.

    I love these stipulations:

PayBox.me, in its sole discretion, has the right to terminate accounts and refuse any and all current or future use of the Service, or any other PayBox.me service.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

PayPal is a site you can put money into to buy things on the net or transfer money over to a friend etc. It is a legit site.

•You could have hundreds or thousands of dollars in your account by the time we launch, without ever making a deposit!

.... if that doesn't set off an alarm Im not sure what would. If it sounds to good to be true...
