Be careful which coupon you have, some are for the stuffed ones only, and they always cost more.

Is $1.39lb a good price? Do you think they might come on sale cheaper closer to Christmas? I have a $25 butterball coupon and was wondering what the best price for these. I have never tried one before they are always more expensive than the regular turkeys

I just got back from No Frills on Erin Mills Parkway in Mississauga and bought a frozen young turkey, grain-fed, for 89 cents a pound.

Its not the greatest price, but it is a stuffed Butterball turkey and can be cooked from frozen which I like, plus $6.00 off is worth my checking it out tomorrow.

I'm gonna try using both here too! Mom got her turkey in the states, but will pick one up for New Years!

For Butterball, yes it's a good price!
Where I am, regular turkeys usually go on sale for .99/lb through the season. Lucky those who get .88!
However, I'd sure buy one without stuffing. You have to cook the pre-stuffed ones from frozen, and cooking time is way longer. Also there's just that bigger chance of contamination...
