make sure you check with your internet provider, you might have a limit on how much data you can stream.

Netflix says a 1hr movie is about 1Gb of bandwidth.

While we don't have a download limit our internet can be awfully slow and I imagine it would take quite a while to download anything. I guess that's what free trials are for though. The price is right, but the selection seems poor compared to zip.ca. We will definitely keep an eye on it though.

This is what is killing blockbuster in the states and may be the future of movie rentals. Times are a changing. It won't be long til this will be a mainstream consumer product viewed on your tv in Canada. Apparently this slow rollout is a deliberate.

Netflix Streams. Much like Shaw. The only diference is when you use a Shaw movie (VOD) they don't affect your data limit.

actually it takes about less than a minute for your movie or show to begin. No lagging nothing.
