i can't either, just keeps loading and loading.. prolly fowled up (gee what a surprise..lol)
haun, supposed to be nice and mild here too. that's a treat for them (pun intended). we had one a few years back that was so nice out no coats or boots needed. it was awesome. and i'm glad that they are putting the clocks back after halloween, so it won't be as dark for them to go around. still dark early tho.
unlike kaela, (i normally luv halloween) i can't wait to get it over with.

do you or anyone have a good recipe for an airy white bread? everyone i make in my stupid breadmaker comes out heavy and dense.ugh. but it makes perfect quick loaves.

I was thinking of getting a bread machine... are they hard to use? Is the bread always dense?

Ummm we have a very nice SC friend here on this board
who lives in Louisiana who may know the secret recipe for the
lightest bread ever.
I swear NS I've never taste bread like this - tasty & light.'Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.'

I love my bread machine, i think it depends on the bread you are making and it definately i think is bread you have to eat the same day especially for sandwiches but if for toast or something good for the next day as well. My egg bread I made is definately not as dense as the white bread, hard to cut as well, so soft.
But I use mine to make the best pizza dough, buns, cinnamon buns and banana bread..i like I can set it and not worry about it
