I know what you mean Rose about Christmas, seems the shopping season starts earlier each year. The stores here began putting trees & other stuff out in September. I am going to "Christmas Village Festival" tomorrow, they are supposed to have over 700 booths this year & that is when I begin shopping. I am able to buy several presents & really look forward to stocking up on the soup mixes they have, you only have to add water & meat. Makes a great meal when you are too tired to cook.

aw cool the festival sounds like fun!
I'm going to a job fair tomorrow morning LOL printed out 15 resumes probably going to do a few more tonight just in case and then going and handing them out to anyone that seems interesting to work for and hopefully fingers crossed that it works out and someone calls me
I was wondering should I include a cover letter too?!?! idk if it should be included or if it should be left out since I don't know where I will be applying to so I can't really address it to anyone, but yet it has some important info about me that my resume doesn't have so I am torn between printing those out to include with my resume or leaving them out...

I'm with you - 40C with humidity is much more pleasant than the cold. My apt faces south, so even in winter I get some sun (and heat). My neighbours all complain that they're hot and think I'm crazy for loving it. The dog and cat will often be panting, but you won't catch them leaving the sunny spot to cool off. Guess they're masochists.
The stores around here had Xmas stuff out day after Labor Day, Halloween stuff was out by Aug, and school supplies were out practically the day after school let out for summer holidays. I'm all for shopping early, but sheesh.

LOL my parents are like that they keep the heat down and walk around in t-shirts complaining they are hot while I am wearing two shirts and a sweater and walking around freezing
