Oh Amy that looks so good even DH who doesn't like most cream cheese recipes wants me to make that one. I couldn't find the berry cream cheese pie recipe it may be on my desktop I'll look later I have part of my recipes in a file and others in my email LOL one of 4 email addys, they all have some since whichever one I was using at the time will have some recipes. Thankfully before Katrina I emailed myself all the recipes I had so I wouldn't lose any. I did find a recipe that everyone loves. LMAO my nephews are at the age that they pretty much ignore the adults except for me. When I show up I'm mobbed and insist on my hugs before I'll answer their BIG question, did I bring the dirt pie
. I make a triple amount of the recipe and they manage to eat every drop lol the first two time I made it for Thanksgiving my DH didn't even get any.
DIRT PIE
8oz. Cream Cheese
1/2 Cup Margarine or butter
1 Cup powdered sugar
2 (3oz) instant french vanilla pudding
3 1/2 cups cold milk
12 oz cool whip
1 pkg oreos (large package)
at room temp mix the cream cheese, margarine, powdered sugar.
In separate bowl (beat until thickened) pudding and milk then fold in cool whip and cream cheese mixture
Crush the oreos until it looks like dirt (I put in a ziploc bag and beat with my meat mallet)
In large bowl (13 x 9 cake pan works well if only making recipe as is I triple it so have to use a huge bowl) make several layers cream cheese mixture, oreos, cream cheese, oreos

That would be great haunish. I gotta host a party using cream cheese as ingredients. I am gonna do ham wraps, a dip to serve with chips and a dessert. May make a few other dishes too not sure. I appreciate all the great recipes. If I dont make them for the party I definitely will later. I hate trying new recipes and getting disappointed. So I do truly appreciate your help. I like getting recipes someone has already tried lol.

Here ya go:
Cream Cheese Cookies
Mix equal parts (i.e., 1 cup):
cream cheese
butter or margarine
flour
Roll out dough to 3/4 inch thickness.
Cut out into shapes.
Can also roll out a bit thinner and cut into squares; fill each square with jam and make sort of turnovers.
Bake at 350F for 20-30 minutes (until golden).
If you want sweeter cookies, sprinkle tops with vanilla sugar.
The plain cookies are great snacks to serve with wine.
This was great when I was diabetic, I could have a couple of plain ones instead of 1 cookie.
My Mom usually makes these at New Years - great with champagne at midnight.
