hey there everyone. I felt lost this weekend without you guys because I forgot my laptop at home and went to London baby this weekend...ON not England *sigh*

LOL, so sorry we couldn't make it out to you but seriously what the f is up with the crazy snow yesterday and today? We got to London into a snow storm...Toronto was not hit at all...most of the drive it was raining we get to Woodstock the friggin white stuff...crazy...anyways we settled in to mom's best friends' place and then went to the shower. Today we left their place by 11am hit Liquidation World and Old Navy cuz we couldn't do it yesterday. Nothing much at LW but I got two t-shirts and 2 tank tops at Old Navy for myself for $12 cuz I had the 30% off coupon so I was happy. I saw this nice red dressy jacket there for 110$, really nice but not 100$ nice so I didn't get it.
Anyways I am so sorry I didn't see you because now that you describe the house filled with toys and kids I need to come by

I have tons of laundry to do now and I need to eat, it is almost 11pm here but I am as hungry as a pregnant woman carrying twins...oh crap I am eating for LOLCAT now...that can't be good.

Good luck, I did it a few years back and lost weight with it but I got de-motivated when people working there left and the new ones were not as encouraging...but when I left I also got pregnant weeks after and gained 50 pounds after the pregnancy so I need something drastic real soon *sigh* another big *SIGH*

Amy! I know! That snow was wicked, and very wet. My porch was so slippery yesterday that DH nearly fell down the steps leaving for work.
I'm glad you had a good time shopping anyway, I don't know if I would have braved that crap! LOL

About a month after the dog brought the cat home (he's supposed to be her pet, but I get to do all the work), he overcame his fears and decided he loved me (he was so wild that the local "we help all animals and don't believe in euthanasia shelter", told me to put him down - I told them to go where the sun don't shine). One day while I was in the shower, I heard a thud & a scream. Poor cat jumped in the tub to see what I was up to & couldn't keep his balance in the wet tub. I had to help the poor little critter (who looked like a drowning rat) out of the tub, while trying very hard not to laugh. The silly creature hates water (& baths), but he tries it every 6 or so months, I think he just wants to reassure himself that I'll save him from the evil water.

Thats funny.. my cat likes it when i take baths. He'll sit on the edge and dip his paw into the water. I enjoy those cute kitty moments.

Making a quick post then I gotta catch up. Sorry about not coming online yesterday and helping with a letter to p an p. There was a chance johns gf was pregnant and I had to deal with the happiness/sorrow of the situation and then dh (rq's version). I could see myself sitting here rocking my grandchild. Well she isnt pregnant so I am happy in away about it cause they are still in highschool. I gotta read and catch up if I can. I was up till 3 am arguing with dh. I get up at 5 am on school days. Not sure if I can understand what I read lol. I will be here more today to try to compose yet another letter to p and p over the contest.

On the topic of mothers - Back when I first moved out and I was living in TO, i came home for Christmas and my mom got so mad at me because I wanted to visit with friends that I packed my bags and left. Now this is the funny part (I just didn't know it at the time). So I pack my bags and then say to my dad, I'm leaving drive me home. LOL He did!! At the time I didn't think anything about it, but now I think how independent was that, I leave and get daddy to drive me home. Of couse I kept referring to my mom as that women. I told him that tell her that I would not be home until she apologized. Took her 2 weeks but she did finaly call to say sorry. We have been good friends since then. Well until I got pregnant with Gwen. She was mad that I wasn't married (I was 35). So kept saying things like she was too old now to be a grandmother, so I refused to tell her anything about the prengancy. She finaly calmed down and called after I brought the video of my altrasound to my grandma's to see. (I went to visit her every Sunday when she was alive) She called my mom and told her that she saw the video of her great grand daughter and I think told mom to smarten up. Anyway later that might mom called and asked if I would come visit and bring the tape. After that she did everything she could for me and the baby.

Hey, I take showers. I've even been known to not be alone in the shower. Get your minds out of the gutter!!!!

years ago I had a cat who would curl up on my chest! when I was soaking in the tub, I would be having a nice bubble bath reading a book and Sadie would jump on the edge of the tub step onto me and just lay down like I was her own private island, she would end up half covered in bubbles. She was a very sweet cat.

My cat did that when we had a tub, be laying there relaxing with a book and she would jump in and try to stay on me so she didnt fall in the water.

Oldest boy broke the computer so we have a new one but since i'm not very good with computers was hoping you guys could help
first the writing is real small and we can't figure out how to make it bigger so old people like me aren't going to go blind reading all your wonderful posts.
second I tried to print off some coupons (new ones on the blog page this morning) and it says that I need an adobe reader anyone know if you can get this free somewhere or a way that i can print without it I didn't even know there was such a thing on my old tower.

Sorry to hear that so many of you are having or have had problems getting along with your mother. I guess I was one of the very fortunate ones to have a mother that I considered my best friend. Of course, not to say that she did have her moments, but overall she was a gem. Even tho she has been gone for 18 years, I still miss her so much especially around the holidays.

for my computer to change the font size i have to:
go to MY COMPUTER
click CONTROL PANEL
click DISPLAY
click APPEARANCES
click FONT SIZE
choose from normal, large or extra large font

i'm not good with computers, but it worked for me, so hope it helps

Hmmm I like one's that pay out as well I have a few that are surveys but the time to do them and what ya get back sometimes can be very time consuming. But when I am at work and have time to kill.... they are great. LOL

I usually save the points/cash for times like Christmas and save them all year long.
