Ok, now, ..... who sent me the snowstorm???? Fess up ..... rofl ! Flipping weather ... hasn't stopped snowing all day, coming down so fast and heavy its like a heavy rain .... oh dh will nto be happy all types of hwy. warnings for ice and snow .... and then he'll get home and have to snow blow ... either to get in the drive way (its only 200 feet) or so he can get out in the a.m.
Course I have 2 Xmas lunches this week, one Thurs. and one Fri. .................................................. .. course its snowing!

LOL I dont have a choice pretty much I havent worked in a week and its the first night that I have to close alone so doubt I can call in and say no...its not bad right now but I imagine tonight when it gets colder everything that is wet will turn to ice so I am going to be the granny doing 20km in an 80 zone haha

There was snow here yesterday and today and as I walked out the door last night to take my class I fell on the driveway...good thing my butt has tons of padding but still...I parked on the main street versus the lot just to ensure I would not fall again.
Today it is slowly melting but we had a good dumping of snow the last few days so we had our share. I am going out to dinner tonight with a bunch of friends...every month we have dinner together, we all leave the kids with our husbands and go out. We do a money exchange (totally not a pyramid). I am sure you guys have heard of it. Prior to us starting the collection everyone picks the month they want to collect and we jot it down on email (that's my job cuz people are lazy). So each month we get together and everyone gives $200 into the pot and each month someone collects based on the calendar we put together. So you always get your money back but it is a good way of saving up for something you really need. So I am two of these collection thingys. Tonight is my turn to collect on one of them and Monday for the next. I timed it so I could collect both in the same month and feel 'rich' for a little bit. So it will be 5k in total but I am not going to use it, gonna offer it up to my brother (the one who is in depression) cuz he is being sued for crazy money and although the suit could take years he may want it as lawyer fees or backup *sigh* Reminder of how much the legal system stinks

Sorry, I haven`t been around. I had a Dr`s appt yesterday, out near my parents. I was going to leave the brats at home, but my parents insisted I bring them along, since they`re convinced I never feed the critters (when I came home from my weekend away, both the dog & the cat had bulging tummies).

It`s a good thing they came, cause the dog would have had to keep her legs crossed until I got back. The Dr had car trouble, then an emergency, so my 11am appt turned into a 4pm visit. Oh well, the brats & I stayed over at my parents, they got more food than they usually eat in a week, & I got to run some errands while waiting for my Dr.

Of course, it does mean internet withdrawal. But the delicious dinner more than made up for that (we had a sausage dish with mashed potatoes & red cabbage). & of course, the `kids`got to clean up the dishes before they got washed (my parents are incorrigible).

Hope those who are under the weather feel better soon. & those dealing with difficult situations, I hope things turn around & get better.

Been trying to give rep, but it won`t let me. Guess I have to learn to spread it around better (dare I ask for lessons from our seasoned pros here?).
