anyway, now i have to go take ds to taekwondo and i don't want to go out, cause his school is chillywilly. they keep warm running around and sparring.

but i feel so GROSS. and i gotta mail out stuff.

Hi everyone.. I am still around. Yesterday hubby and I went out and bought a fireplace for master bedroom it is electric keeps the room nice and warm. It was 25 F the last few night. High today is 37 F. Son had a parent/teacher conference (home-schooling) today, he sees a teacher 2 times a week to be tested California law. He has a B GPA. Then we went grocery shopping while shopping it started snowing. The hills and mountains all around me are covered. Streets are flowed, signals are out. A 10 min drive took 30 mins. Well now it can snow all it wants to now.

Ok.. I have to get my last 5 family Christmas cards made out and sent.

So I get to the mall, and I can only use the card at a few stores, so I bought 3 nice leather Italian purses ( I hated that!), got my hair cut and my brows done. All in all a very nice day. Coming back on the 401 at about pickering, traffic in front of me starts going wacky, there in the middle lane of the highway is someones new, well not so much anymore, couch! It had been hit by a transport so was damaged at one end, but I am sure was hit a few more times as the traffic was going at a fair clip. Up ahead on the side is a young fellow pulled over, the chair was still on the trailer. Poor bugger, hopefully they got it off off the highway before it caused a serious accident.

so I fell asleep before the end last night, who won Survivor????????

It's Christmas time tonight!!!! My hunny let me open my Christmas stocking. In it I found a $100 Mastercard he bought at SDM, a $25 gift card for SDM, a $25 giftcard for LaSenza and a $25 giftcard for Walmart! Also, a 1kg Dairy Milk chocolate bar which is my alltime FAVORITE chocolate bar! This thing is HUGE! Just imagine one pound of chocolate. Also, a real nice black turtlenect sweater and some more candies and stuff! I have such a great husband! Now I'm trying to talk HIM into opening his stocking but he said he would later!

I just came back from the post office meself, and it was a HORROR. There were so freaking many people in line, and all I wanted to do was mail one card that I wasn't sure of the postage on UGGGGH. Sorry you didn't get to see Shrek the Halls, we saw it on tv the other night and it was hilarious! I wished I had your phone number yesterday, the old Garfield Christmas special was on tv!

I don't watch TV very much, but I got hooked on that season of Survivor because I liked Bob so much. What Corinne said to Sugar about being a leech on society and all that stuff was really harsh!

I got a email the other day. I've entered Allure contests forever and not won anything but for the first time I got to enter all those August ones where you could enter 5 times a day every hour from I think 12pm est to 5pm, they had it the entire month of august instead of just the few days at the beginning of every month. Anyway you all probably know all that but I won something. It's John Freida hair umm glaze. You use it after you shampoo let it set for 3 minutes and rinse it out. Supposed to make your hair very shiny. So excited lol I know its not a big prize but I'm excited I finally won something from allure.

Had emailed Wal-mart with complaint about the last time I was in and using coupons, and the way the cashier and store manager was. This morning got phone call frm head office, was shocked, wanting to know exactly what happened, who cashier was, apologized abunch, said they takeany coupon as long as the date is good, etc.
Didnt offer anything, but nice to know they took me seriously and will be talking to the cashiers.

I've been waiting for a week now after complaining about service at a Wal-Mart. I don't think I'm going to be holding my breath for too much longer, though.

Ok, so through the year, whenever we see a great deal on a toy, or a general-type present we can use for someone for Christmas, we pick it up and put it away in the "Christmas boxes" upstairs. I'm hugely pregnant and hate going up and down the stairs, so about 3 weeks ago, I tell DH he has to look in the boxes and make sure there is enough GOOD stuff for the girls for Christmas. (They are both too young to ask for specific things)

He comes down, says there is "TONS of stuff" and thats that. Fool that I am, I believe him! I go up there tonight to start wrapping their stuff. I start pulling things out of the big boxes. Winter has a pretty nice pile of things... 2 beautiful barbies, a princess snowglobe, pretty notebooks and pen set, bedtime story books, a wall-e toy, etc etc.
Monet has THREE THINGS. A baby puzzle, a DVD, and a board book. (Puzzle AND dvd are from Points and prizes!!) I am furious at DH! He did the "Man look" in those boxes, which means he saw lots of toys and assumed we had enough. Tons of stuff in the boxes is way too advanced for Winter to even have, much less Monet.

So now I have to go shopping for a few other things for Monet, because he's working every day from now till Christmas.

Thanks for listening! LOL I just had to vent over the "Man Look" thing. I know you all know what I mean. No offense to our SC Men.

At least yours went up to look. Mine would just sit at the computer and say that we had enough gifts.

Thurs pm was DS's cadet xmas dinner. I got him all handsomed out. I trimmed his hair, found tan casual pants, topped with a white (almost like a priest collar shirt), no tie req'd then, and topped it all with a double buttoned blue blazer. the kid looked awesome!

Jsut wanted to let you al know i been gettign killer headches. They are loking at migraines. Deep dull heavy ache in my forehead. So i been playing process of elimination with docs now they got me drugged up on a barbituate so i ahevnt' been doignmuch. It's either the pain nwo i am drugged...May skip my next does as i cant' function either way....LOL. Who needs Huka???? LMAO.

ALso, I am late on sendign cards and stuff. SO you all knwo ahead of time. Plus my son has a pensi infection...Poor kid...HEs ok though, nto complaing jsut peeign a lot. Hope you're feeling better. Migranes are really no fun. I get them regularly and with the little guy getting into everything now, sometimes DH has to take days off to help me around the house when I get a killer migrane.

Became an aunt for the second time on Dec 7th. My 2nd nephew is Sawyer Rain and weighed 7.7lbs and was 21cms long. Lots of dark hair.

Soooo.... I got to meet RTlady (Mary)!!!!!! She stopped over for a few minutes to drop off that kids rocking chair she promised, and she got to meet me and the kittens Kittens were almost as excited as we were (At least Winter was!) I think she hugged me about 25 times. I just loved meeting her. It is so funny to meet someone you "know" from online in person. She and I are both married to men we met online, so that makes it even funnier, and very sweet. The kittens love the rocking chair, I took some pics of them in it that I am going to post later on.

I got a little teary-eyed when I read about this. RT you are so sweet to do this for LOLcat!!

LOL I do not know if I am pregnant yet. Home tests say no but that doesn't mean anything I guess. Fingers crossed I am two weeks late to the day but I am also low in iron so could be the reason too right?

Did I say I hate my new office!!

Oh I feel so exposed. Everyone coming down the hall can see into my office. I am on a coner so there are little mini meeting going on out front on the corner. The carpet is riped. The guy beside me listens to the worst music!! Oh I think I am going to go crazy!!

The old office was so nice and quite, unless there was a meeting going on in the boardroom, but then all I had to do was close the door to the room and quite it was.

So I have done my witching to the people that need to her it and I now get to wait and see if they will at least move my walls around.

The weather here is not bad. Going up to 8C and melting all the snow I hope.

Must get back to work before someone sees me. LOL

I had an office like that too when I was working. It sucks big time!!

Okay ... time to catch up ... been sick for the last four days and now have a little bit of spare time and don't feel like throwing up when I look at the computer This may take a while.
