It is still terrible here. DH left for work at 6.. stopped at Shoppers Drug Mart at 6:15, and was in there for only 10 minutes came out to a covered car again and made himself late for work! LOL
It is nice to just sit in your house with nowhere to go on a day like today though. Feels very cozy to sit around on the couch with the kids coloring and drinking hot chocolate.

They say it has an ingredient in it that really does help you to get better faster....geez our grannies really did know what they were talking about! my son swears beer will kill a cold also heard worse excuses for having a beer before but barely worse!

yw everyone was waiting for a time to splurge on gifts was hoping boo would have new ones by christmas so i could get better ones or more festive ones but presents for all will do!

thought this was funny, family was eating supper and our kids are talking about all the things they would like, so dh decided to tell them that nothing is free in life, goes all into a talk about stuff, turns to son and goes so do you understand things in life arent free, and ds pipes up.."yes, unless you have a coupon".. I killed myself laughing

Oh one more thing. NS hubby and I decided that we might drive to the east coast this spring so I might need your help picking out the places to go to and see. It is all pending his bonus in the spring too but keep us in mind

I know i havent been around much. My family told me they're all pitching in to get me a laptop for xmas (they told me ahead of time so i could help pick it out), so i've been hurridly trying to back up everything on my harddrive. Someone's going to buy this old thing off me for $100 to use for parts.. didnt think it was worth anything - woot woot

Oh I KNOW!! I never let the kids watch Franklin, that "kid" is the biggest whiney, selfish brat. And Caillou too, all he does is whine and pout and complain. LOL

I really like that new show called "Yo Gabba Gabba"... it is full of all kinds of encouraging stuff and has great catchy tunes. Plus it is just wierd enough to be enchantingly funny.

IT'S XMAS EVE AM! GOOD MORNING PPL! what are we up to today?

i put my turkey in the fridge noon hour yesterday. FROZEN SOLID AS A ROCK suppertime. so i put it in cold water in sink, and FORGOT ABOUT IT. but still water was cold and bird still half froz so i put it in the fridge. damn thing is missing a leg! ya know the charlie brown tree? i think i got his bird here.. omg. war wounded bird. ugha. dh shoulda used his bonus to buy a half decent bird. never eat the legs anyway.. and will be enuf food with jiggs dinner.

KAELA: HOW DO I MAKE THE GRAVY WITH THE JUICE??? snake? someone? anyone? (the juice off the boiled dinner? can it be done?)

i got a few songs left, then i'm burning the longest dvd of songs in the history of humankind. should be close to 2 days worth wish me luck!

I'm up way past my bedtime because I forgot to bake my liver cake - well, not really *my* cake, since I hate liver. The batter was mixed up earlier, I was letting cookies cool when I realized the batter wouldn't be safe from the brats so I put it in the fridge. And forgot all about it, until I wanted to go to bed. Ugh. I have to get up at the crack of dawn (actually 5:30, predawn) cause my friend needs my help first thing in the morning, then my parents are coming to get us when I get back, so no time to bake then. I think I'm babbling, which means I'm in need of sleep.

Hope those who celebrate Xmas have a good one & those who don't have a fun day off. Not sure if my parents' computer will let me log on or not, so in case I disappear for a few days, Merry Christmas to all & to all those lucky souls in their beds a good night!

The site is loading so slow tonight or maybe its me. Tried to go to bed and think I could of actually slept but lol instead of insomnia keeping me up DH is. After eating tonight he kept saying it feels like something is stuck in his esphagus mid chest. Thought maybe it was heart burn or something like it but he took some prilosec and axid liquid and neither helped. Really bugging him and he isn't suffering in silence. Soon as I get him back to bed I'm hauling butt in there got too much to do tomorrow to be sitting on here all night.
Andit...Hope you have a wonderful time at your parents, know the grandfurkids will! lol I can't even stand the smell of liver exhusband used to always talk me into cooking liver and onions for him (gag). Bet the furkids just love it tho. That list I got from the ascp (think thats the dog protection peoples initials) that gave a list of things that are toxic to dogs, said yeast was. Ok found it hmm yeast dough is, does that mean after it cooks it isn't toxic. Geez they could of worded that clearer. Been afraid to give Mollie bites of my sandwiches and we usually share a peanut butter or tuna fish one. Ok i'm going to go see if he feels better if not i'm going to sleep on the couch I'm tired.

Ok so I'm a bit of a airhead tonight (d'oh) they can't eat yeast dough cuz it rises in their tummies. Sheesh glad I answered it before someone else. dh is sleeping gonna wait a few so he gets good and zonked then sneak in there and go to bed!!!!!

so dh got up and went to the 24 hour sobeys for my blueberries. he calls and tells me that there aren't any. my phone dies! (cordless), so i run upstairs, the upstairs one is dead. then the 5in1 printer thing starts beeping telling me to hang up the phone! but i can't, it's already hung up? so then i get pains in my tummy, i run to the bathroom..

then the 5in1annoying thing starts beeping louder, and LOUDER, and it's loud enuf to wake the ds! but i can't get off the potty..:pottytrain5:

when i finally do, i'm running thru the house trying to figure out what to hang up! it's not the usptairs phone, i run downstairs, it's dead, so i put it on charger..

the beeping *whew* stops!

i race back usptairs to call DH, figuring he's looking in the wrong place. the line is BUSY ARGH! so i wait. i finally get a hold of him...

i found the blueberries....

okay so he's back with them, and they're the wrong ones! ugh, plus i asked for apple saussage, i got maple.. which wouldn't be so bad except i already got maple bacon..

You can reply that you don't have Shoppers points. Shoppers is a drug store in Canada and you get points for your purchases and can then cash them when you have a certain amount for free towards a future purchase.

NS - you can gravy with the juice from your boiled dinner the same way you would make with roast/turkey, etc. (flour and water and gravy browner if you want it darker)
