we had a good christmas, but I am little upset at moment, my mom lives in states, she is always the first person to call christmas morning, her and my dd are very close. But I havent heard from her yet, no answer at her house, or my sistrs ho lives down there as well. My father hasnt heard from her as well. All we know is they had early christmas on xmas eve, and stayed up late, but now nothing, so am doing my darndest to find her..dd is getting upset she hasnt phoned, so am hoping nothing happened..

i had a pretty good christmas. this is the first time i have been able to actually get near my computer for any legnth of time in a few days. i hope you all a good christmas too. all the best from my home to yours.

Hope you're all out enjoying the sale spending your Christmas money! I got money from my parents, Gran, and the in-laws, but I didn't see any deals i wanted in the flyers!

DD liked the pig from P&P - niece is getting the puzzle today, and DS got the truck from Chapmans and that was a hit too

Wow - you're active. I tried reading the first few and last few messages to get a sense of this and I'm still baffled.

1. Do you get rewards? If so what are they ?
2. How long does it take - it looks like you skim a newsletter to share with the community, learn from others, type in code words get points.

Some words are 250 pts .... one person said you need 20,000 so that's 80 words.

I get the feeling this is "fun" from the posts and the fact that many of you have become online friends/friendly.

5 words per hour I saw as a limit - but how many words available in a week.

If there is a "newbie" FAQ - please point me at it.

welcome to the asylum LOL

yes you get rewards from p&p they vary sometimes they have DVD's up sometimes kids toys sometimes jewellery I guess it depends what sponsors they have

it takes awhile to get enough points for something really really good but there are some small things you can get for less points too

not sure how many words are available in a week but ya you can only enter five words an hour and usually when all the words go up i have at least a days worth of words to enter LOL

no faq available, but someone should do one up! there are several ways to find words:
1. sign up for the newletters. you may find a word that is as high as 450 pts! someone once found a 500 pt word.
2. do word hunts. there's a new one every month! you go thru the sheknows message boards, or their partner sites, like mainstreetmom etc. there are weekly words posted and wordhunt words hidden on the pages.
3. enter contests! sure they are a pain in the butt. (downvoters, more on those ppl later), but you get 1000 pts for entering. 5 pts for voting (to max of 25x5 day)
4. you can find words also in the hourly contests. those are listed on the pointsandprizes.com main page.

all words will have an expiry, so if you find words please post the word, the pt value and the expiry!

and on the very first page of this thread is a wiki, where there are all the words listed so you can get caught up! lolcat keeps it up todate.

if you ever need any help, just ask someone here! and we always having fun, and luv seeing new faces!

Hello everyone!! Hope you all had a great day yesterday!! Ours was fabulous!! Tyler got to open presents and really enjoyed the wrapping and boxes. Oh, eventually he liked the gifts as well

Just relaxing today, not that we stressed ourselves out yesterday. Playing the new vids and I'm reading the free book that I got from Random House

hi everyone, I hope all had a good christmas, I was up to my neck in family, children, company, gifts and food. It was wonderful and very busy. I will double check all the contest links to make sure they are working. I still have to try and find one I entered last Monday.
