No if you have the points and get the wii, it will be mailed to you. I think she just meant there are a lot of people trying to get the wii as well.

Sorry, what I meant was that there are lots of folks trying to get enough points to get the Wii. It seems that they usually only have 1 item of that particular prize. When I ordered the dog sweater (er, cat sweater now), it immediately had an "out of stock" tag put under its description once I got my order confirmed.

So, have I confused you yet? Usually it's only myself I manage to confuse.

Right now all the contests have closed, but they seem to have quite a few of them come up. You can earn extra points by entering them & also by voting/commenting on the entries. There's usually a list of current entries of SC members that one of our organized members posts to remind us & keep us up to date.

Just a side note on downvoters, there are nasty folks out there who insist on giving low votes to entries to sabotage their chances of winning, but the rules specifically say that the winners are drawn at random, so all it does is annoy people & make them look like fools. One of these days I'll have to send my killer cat out after them.

might need help with an amazon claim code grr keeps telling me to enter a credit card too when the GC covers the balance of what I want! Have never had this happen before did they change it so that now you have to put in a CC number even if the gift codes cover it??? cause if they did they suck LOL anyone know?

That's strange, I was toying around with the amazon site these past couple of days and it allowed me to checkout with just the gc (from openmind). I ignored the cc page and clicked 'continue' (or was it 'next'?) and reached the last step, although I did not 'submit' my order.

Got to the casino had popcorn shrimp basket with fries omg a ton a shrimp and it wasn't at all like normal popcorn shrimp. Had fairly good sized shrimp and about 20 of them, they were spicy and the breading was really good. Kept it for later and even ate it cold at the casino b4 we left and it was still pretty good. We cashed out for $160 but as I thought dh put it all back in wouldn't leave until the last $10 was gone, so dam irritating we are so broke right now we could of really used a bit extra. He was outraged when I even said anything about it since it's his one thing he really enjoys doing. Told him don't expect me to understand it cuz I can't. It's done and over so gots to let it go.
I love Krispy creme's donuts but even better are their pigs in the blanket omg they are soooo good! One of the hospitals I worked at was close to one and a lot of the patients families would buy us some, they dont' have them here or dunkin donuts lol we just got a starbucks. For the size of this town we have very little in the way of big chains. Just got a best buy but the first chain store like that.

I didn't win a thing last year, so I am hoping things change this year. My first year on the contest sites I won a record and sweat shirt, a whole set of Nancy Drew books and game for my DD, I won a basket of chocolate from the Woman's show here in Ottawa, $100 GC for shoes and some raizers (sp) and a few other little things.

PF - That susks that they won't pay your husband. The Timmies where I work was down to 2 people this week and they closed at 11am every day. If you didn't bring your lunch, you where out of luck.

OK so I am feeling better, not caughing up as much stuff as I was and I can breath again. I still have the thoat thing going on though. I still think I have strepp thoat or something with the glands. I go on Tuesday so my family doc should be able to do something, I hope.

My DS is going to be playing a hockey game at the Civic Centre on Friday. It should be so cute watching a bunch of 8-10 yrs olds skating on the big ice. They play at 5pm and then at 7pm the Ottawa 67's will be palying their game, so it will be a late night out for us. The kids love going to the 67"s games. I think it has something to do with all the junk food I buy! lol I can't wait to get one of those big pretzells (sp).

Anyway I was just popping in to say hi. Now I must get to bed. I need to go do some shopping tomorrow.

The words are found in the SheKnows newsletters and on various partner sites. Here's an example (ashley located in the pink box):

I find that the folks on here are super quick - by the time I come here to post something, someone's beaten me to the punch, so to speak. If you happen upon a word, do a quick check & if you don't see it posted, please post here in the forum. Even if it happens to be a repeat, it's better to post it twice than not at all.

A fresh batch of words usually comes out on Tuesdays, although sometimes things happen at SheKnows (SK) & it doesn't always happen. Also if you find a word, check the date - I got really excited I'd found a word that hadn't been posted, until I realized that it had expired.

The only cardinal rule is Don't Touch The Wiki! A helpful soul tried to be useful & post things to it & got everything all convoluted, so only LolCat (official Wiki Keeper) may touch it.

I love the New Year's pic!! I've been trying to give you rep for it, but it won't let me. My kids also love all the pics you do with your furkids. I show them everytime you post a new one. They think you are some kind of special, because they can't imagine being able to do that with any of our animals

About the points....in the beginning it will seem like they add up fast, then you realize that it takes forever. I've claimed about 90% of all the points I could possibly get in the 6 months I have been doing it. The only thing I haven't done 100% is the voting. I have around 250K. That means it will take me 5 years to get enough points for the Wii.

LOL I made a believer out of myself now...its always a great motivation to win something big when you start to slack off entering contests now I am back into entering daily ones daily again instead of once a week LOL
