Oh no, how are you feeling now?
I'll do you one better. This morning I was giving the critters a pedicure. I was using my Xmas present, a handy dandy nail grinding thingy, to smooth out the edges after clipping the dog's nails (it doesn't work very well on big tough Labrador nails) & my sweetheart of a dog was handing me her front paw. That's the moment my goofball cat decided to jump over my head. I ducked & now I'm sporting a black eye where my head connected with the dog.
Happy Anniversary!
Get lots of rest & feel better.
Finances are certainly a pain in the nether-regions. Hopefully you can get some rest between clients & feel better.
Are you feeling better, Rose?
Thanks for the link to the contest page. Guess I`ll have to start entering contests too, even though I haven`t won since, ahem, before you were born.
Sorry if I`ve missed anyone, still trying to give rep, sometimes I`m actually succeeding.
For those who need a funny story to cheer them up, here`s another of my embarrassing stories.
When I was 17, my 3 girlfriends & I were looking for something to do on a boring summer night. We`d gone to a movie & weren`t ready to go home just yet (it was only 10). So we drove down to the Bluffers Park (where older teens went when they were feeling amorous & couldn`t afford a motel room) & my friend flashed her highbeams at the cars & their occupants.
After one particularly vocal cussing out, we decided to go get sundaes at McDonalds. It was only 11, but the manager had closed the restaurant & only kept the drive-through open. Well, the parking lot was dark & rather boring, so we drove to a nearby park. This time we were the only car there.
So, there we were, enjoying our sundaes, when a light was flashed at us & someone banged on the roof of the car. We all just about jumped out of our skins.
`
"What are you doing?" came a loud voice.
"Eating ice cream," I said quietly, holding up my sundae, & looked out to see a couple of policemen.
They turned & walked back to their cruiser trying hard not to laugh - we hadn`t even noticed it, we were so busy eating our ice cream.
To this day, I can`t eat ice cream in the car without being afraid I`m going to get arrested.

Thanks for the kind words Andit, yeah I really want to be just a housewife.....minus the husband
I love all of your stories!
Not good about the black eye. You already know that you're going to get all of the pity stares from the people who think you are being beaten
Hi HG-thanks for the congrats. I think I'm officially addicted to sweeping now. I only kind of dabbled in it here and there before. In the past month, and really only a fraction of it, I have won 10 things!! Those are just the instant wins. I'm certainly hoping I start getting some emails about other sweeps I've entered!! It's almost better than sex, but not better than chocolate!!
Sorry you are gonna be so busy--make sure to stop in when you can!!

lol Haunish just relooked at what it was you wrote, your having a cystoscopy not your gall bladder out which is (not even close cholecystectomy). Good grief I'm off a bit today please just ignore me. There's nothing to the cystoscopy either won't take but a couple hours to get there and get it done and go. Had one done umm in 2002 I think. You'll be just fine during and after it. Geez can't believe I messed that one up.
Thanks everyone for the congrats on anniversary and concern over my fall. I'm finding more sore spots as the day goes on but nothing serious lol and lots of bruises but then I bruise extremely easy. lmao my right toes are totally bruised up and have been for a few days and I haven't stubbed them or anything, probably scratched at them at night, they get itchy little bumps on them. Ribs are hurting tonight but not badly just aching and on the left so am sure its probably from the fall. If I'm still really achy tomorrow I'll get a shot of toradol and am sure I'll feel better. Have to go in at 8am yay get to sleep a extra hour this week for my shot and labs this week, usually go at 7am but I need a script filled and the dr doesn't get there until 8am it's just the nurses and lab at 7. Have a good night everyone will be here after I get back from the drs in the morning.

not much a dr wants to do that isn't a bit uncomfortable it seems. lmao had a stress echo last summer, thought they were trying to kill me with this med they gave me, was sure I was having a heart attack, was horrible. Least I got some good news from the test...had some damage to a valve from the blood clot to my lung and the test showed that it was back to normal so was worth it.

I am back. IT was in the 70's hear on saturday. I made my boys and my nephews clean up the yard. Then yesterday it was in the 50s so I cleaned house a little and hubby built a porch. This morning it is 19 degrees outside. I have one heck of an allergy to extreme temp change so this is aggrevating me lol.
Hope you all who are ill and hurt feel better soon.
RQ you should be sharing those sweep links with me lol.
Happy anniversary stardreamer.

Morning everyone.
Happy Anniversary stardreamer, hope thoses bruises are healing. Make sure you check to see that they are.
Andit - I think you may have to take that cat in for thearpy. If he is giving you black eyes now, but what will be next. Just make sure you know where he is when you go down the stairs. I know my cats have tried many times to make fall down the stairs. LOL
Haunish - good luck with the test today.
RQ - there pages of chat and mostly from you. LOL see I told you we missed you.
Off to do some work, though I don't know why.

My dh resiliconed the entire fishtank this weekend and it is up and running, told him though if it happens again, we are done with fish. He loves having fish.
not looking forward to the afternoon part of my day..lol, but hopefully the docs can figure it out.
Hope you all have a great day

I'm here now....got the dreaded phone call at lunch time today and I am laid off from my job basically they fired me LOL so now I am trying to job hunt and find something which is really hard because of where I live and usually no places hire until tourist season then lay you off again...am trying to suck up my pride and email the model job that I did have for dec them backed out of because I got the jewellery store job and they didnt like that I couldnt have four days a week off for them to go do the model thing...so I told them it wouldnt work and never heard anything since...am thinking of emailing them back and seeing if they had anything open in my area now since I dont have any obligations anymore and can work their hours...besides its $10 an hour for part time work so I would make a bit of extra money for now just till I can find something more permanent...
ya I feel better virus/pneumonia wise...bummed out about the job thing though
now that I posted the link I have to go and actually do something on the blog now to keep it updated for my fans LOL
