jode: i'm unsure but i think it goes thru probate but still ends up going to the hubby. just that it takes longer. (my mom went thru this with her dad)
ryan is on 54mg concerta am and it is the 12 hour one. wears off around 7 ish. he gets a 5 mg ritalin at 4pm to hold him over for his afterschool activities. without it, he gets very oppositional. now there is no pill for ODD. (oppositional definant disorder) but the dr feels that it helps because he's not so easily frustrated and more willing to do stuff so he becomes less oppositional.
like wtf? as long as it works. it should not be giving him diarreah tho. u should talk to the dr about that. i don't know how i ever managed with out it.
our school started a new program (suppoesd to be all schools) ours is calling it smokey smiles. they get smiley faces for doing things right. ryan says he earned 3 and they only started yesterday. i think they are giving more out to the *ahem* behaviourally challenged ones, but anyone can earn them. supposed to be sumthing the schoolboard implemented, and i think it's an awesome idea! i guess alot of kids are struggling with behavioral issues. am so proud of our schools for addressing the issue.
always felt in the past that they blamed the parents and expected us to be able to control our kids when they're out of arms length.Last edited by NSangel; Thu, Jan 22nd, 2009 at 11:39 AM.

NS that sounds like a fantastic program & gives the kids something to work toward. Maybe you & hubby could do something special for him when he makes a goal & that would give him something else to work at. Great program
Thanks for the new words this morning.

your right. and we do. but for some reason, it seems to work when it comes from someone else
not to get you guys worried or nothing..but (because of recent events), if say p&p went belly up like the pink oinker, how did you guys want to stay in touch? should we have an alternate room? maybe call it "disgruntled members of p&p". or what?
i do have a very bad feeling, and we need a plan ppl!Last edited by NSangel; Thu, Jan 22nd, 2009 at 12:35 PM.

So who wants to hear the dilemma of a century? I dont know what else to say or do about this stupid H&R Block company. They treat people like garbage, they say it is better to look and sound professional than to do a proper and adequate return for the person but here is the icing on the cake. The other night this woman came in to train and during someone left for the washroom. Normal right? Well then she starts yelling back 'hey you in the bathroom. I am not here for you to be in the bathroom. I could be home on my couch watching tv.' I don't even think the person in there heard her, I was offended and not sure how others in the class took it nor did I ask them because I was disgusted that a manager there and has worked there for 20yrs would say something like that.
Can I really work for a company like that?
