Enjoy your weekend. Had another slip this morning but
caught myself before I hit the ground but my knee sort
of twisted. Is winter ALMOST OVER?????

My 83 yr old veteran who just lost his wife in October
was kept in hospital. I had to call 911 for ambulance
yesterday. Come to find out, he has a leaky valve (50%)
and he would require a dye test but his kidneys need to
be within a certain percentage working condition and
they aren't. They don't think he'd be able to go through
the dye test so they don't think they'll be able to do too
much about the leaky valve. I'm sad

I probably won't have to work there much this week

Now does anyone know of reacting to vitamin e cream, was told we could start using it, we put it on, and when she got up the one side of hr face is bright red, covered in bumps and swollen...washed her off and waiting to see if it gets worse then go to hospital, but was just wondering if anyone thinks it could be the cream

Could someone compile a list of the real names FIRST names with the SC nicknames and list it? Or, on Facebook, could we maybe put something in our status that will give us a hint? Like I could have "PF" at the start of my status so people will know it's Petite Femme...

Any other suggestions? I do agree it's hard to know who who is!

Haunish, you can react to anything BUT my first thought would be it wasn't the vitamin E really, but something else in the vitamin E cream. Have you looked at the ingredient list on the cream? Is there something else in there other than the vitamin E? If there is, she could be reacting to any of those products. I had a girl in guides who reacted to a chemical in sunscreen. Not all sunscreens would cause a reaction but one of the ones that did was the more expensive "hypoallergenic" neutrogena! The family never went to the trouble to ID the specific ingredient causing the reaction, rather through hit and miss they generated a list of "safe" sunscreen products. I know this doesn't help with you and your dd, but maybe another brand of Vitamin E cream would help her heal up and not cause the reaction.

Also b/c it is on her face and it sounds as though she has hives just watch her to make sure the reaction does not worsen. If she has difficulty breathing you know where to take her! Good luck.
