Wiki is updated... sick as sick can be all day, couldn't keep a thing down. I wish my morning sickness would just make up its mind whether it is staying or going. On a good note, my bathroom is so clean it sparkles. It is hard to sit staring at the bathroom floor and wall tiles so long without seeing (and wanting to clean) the parts no one notices. lol

Good morning everyone. I have to do some grocery shopping this morning, and I feel like pulling my head off and just leaving it in the bathroom. I don't really have a choice with the shopping, though. We're out of so many things. I'm thinking a call to my mommy might be in order

OMG Hubby dragged me with him to the grocery store about 2 weeks ago and I had to go throw up in a grocery store bathroom!!! Talk about foul. All my morning sickness was mostly gone the last 2 days but now it is back with a vengance. *sigh*

Amy you should contact the store where you bought if from. Maybe they will exchange it or be able to get a copy of the receipt for you. Stores like WalMart and CT will do an exchange for you.

This happened to me when I bought a B&D deep fryer. Actually, it happened twice. The first time was within the 1 year warranty period and I had the receipt (I keep mine stapled to the owner's manuals) so I brought it in and they replaced it for the same one. The second one stopped working after my warranty expired. I called B&D and got the 'sorry, warranty is expired, can't help you'. So I went right to CT, told them I called B&D but they refused to help me even though the product was still being manufactured, I still had the box and I specifically told them I DIDN'T have the receipt. If I had, they'd have known I bought it over 1 year ago. They told me to go look on the shelf and if they had the same one I could grab it. They didn't have it but they had a B&D with just a few features that were different and she told me I could take it instead.

CT is amazing for returning products without the receipt so I'd definitely go back there.

i do the same thing. i staple my receipt right to the manual. and i mark down the model and serial number on the booklet (usually there's a spot). then when u have to call the 1800 # on the last page, all your info is handy

walmart has a funny return policy for microwaves. i forget what it is. but i think it's only 1 month with receipt. other items it's 3 months with reciept. or xchange w/o (but not certain items)
