there are 4 of you, you need a 6
i had a 4
but wait, sometimes canadian tire has the 2 for one deal, and you get a mini crockpot with it which is good for making sauces. i love mine, it's stainless steel, glass top, removeable inside, high, low and med temp, mine is oval. great for sunday dinners, chickens, roasts, etc. think mine was around $35 for the 2
i also have the 4 qt (good for soup, stews and chili) as well as the mini, (which i only used once)

hello, me again, :D quick question, lookit this recipe ( whole boneless pork loin rib on sale superstore for 1.99 i cut it and made 3 roasts), anyway:
can i subsitute the dijon mustard? i can't stand dijion and it goes to waste?
his is a delicious slow cooker pork roast with a sweet and lightly spiced glaze. Serve this pork loin roast with mashed potatoes and your favorite side dish vegetables. Cook Time: 9 hours
Ingredients:
- 1 boneless pork loin roast, 4 to 6 pounds
- 1 clove garlic, halved
- salt and pepper
- 1 1/3 cups brown sugar, divided
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Preparation:
Wash pork roast, trim excess fat, pat dry, and rub with garlic halves. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, then prick the roast all over with a fork or skewer. In a cup or bowl, combine 1 cup of the brown sugar, the mustard, and vinegar. Rub all over the roast.
Cover and cook on LOW for 7 to 9 hours. Pour off the excess juices.
combine the remaining 1/3 cup brown sugar with cinnamon; Spread the mixture over the top of the roast. Cover and continue cooking on LOW for 1 hour longer.
Serves 6 to 8.Last edited by NSangel; Fri, Feb 20th, 2009 at 01:44 PM.

You're thinking of Br'er Rabbit from Uncle Remus (remember the Disney flick with Zippadeedoodah & bluebirds?).
Sometimes I wish I drank coffee, the Hazelnut delight sounds yummy. OK, so I'm weird, but not weird enough to drink the stuff straight...maybe once.
So, did you spend your tax refund yet? Hopefully you got something for yourself! I'm still waiting for 1 more slip (govt doc, of course) to come before I can do mine.
Are you still having problems with your dog barking (is it just the one, or both)? If they're bored, here's an easy economical way to keep their mouths busy for a bit. Get some soup bones (my local butcher gives them out free - I buy like $2 worth of meat & get a big bag of bones) & boil them in lots of water for about 15 minutes. Fill a couple of margarine containers (depending on size of dog may need something larger) with the "broth" & freeze solid. Put cling wrap on the bottom of the container to get the "popsicle" out easier. When the dog(s) get restless, put them in the yard with a popsicle each. Should take a couple of minutes for them to chew them up.
Hope your day is going well. Oh, & I'm so excited about Swagbucks - I actually won 10 yesterday (after nothing for 2 days).

my dogs aren't barking as much. gave them more time to run around the house, and that seem to do the trick, usually they are underfoot so i can't have them everywhere they'll knock me over. have not had them barking since, but i love your idea, i might try that if i ever see them. here they sell bones, get this like $10 each at chrisbrothers but they are the size of the damn cows leg, well, half anyway unless it's a short cow..but the dogs chew em up within minutes!!!
shadow got ahold of my potholder a few mins ago and schewed it up
no i never got anything for myself today. the other day i bought the covergirl minerals makeup..but i don't like it that much

The best thing happened to me this morning. My husband was out with the guys last night and who knows what was said or done but this morning he said to me 'i know sometimes I take advantage of you doing things around the house or for the business and I snap at you, I am so sorry. I cant do things without you.' Hes actually a super awesome husband and rarely gets annoyed or annoying for that matter but lately with his work he has been stressed and snapping easily at us so I guess he figured it out on his own. Either that or he saw his friends being real a$$es and thought wow i hope I am not like that to my wife. Either way made my day.
