As for the spiked coffee, if I was a drinker I would appreciate it I just want a new back at this point and maybe a big tub of chocolate and a babysitter one night so I actually see my husband again. He hasnt even started his new job and I barely see him already. I am not complaining to him because there is nothing he can do about it. Yesterday he was out from 7am to 11pm with taking his mom to her appt for her knee (they told her eventually she will need knee replacement but for now no surgery) then he had a meeting downtown for his new job he starts Monday then he met up with some friends for dinner downtown and then went to visit another set of friends. *sigh* How we supposed to make babies when I'm asleep before he gets home ?

After the President of the company being on tv so many times and assuring consumers to buy their products this is horrific. I don't buy processed meats mainly for this reason but come on you would think they were checking things a dozen times before sending something out now.

As for the maple leaf hotdogs all I can say is "not again". Initially I was impressed at how proactive maple leaf was for saying they screwed up and were working on it....but if you can't learn from a mistake and work to prevent/fix it from happening again how do they expect consumers to trust them again? I agree with amy in that respects, not a very good PR or public trust builder.

their stocks should be worthless now. how can they keep recalling stuff and expect ppl to forget about it and keep purchasing? i was thinking about all the pb products that were recalled. how does this happen? what kind of an unsanitary system is our food going thru?

just seen that maple leaf comercial with the women that work in the lab, testing the meat to make sure it's fit to eat and then showing them serving it at their house..ya right..

am glad i don't use much process food. but couple of weeks ago i did buy ml weiners, now i donno which ones they are if they got taken out of their original pkg so i guess am throwing em all out!

My credit card has furnished all of my pet's rooms! I just redid her kitchen! Her bathroom is done, her recroom is done, her bedroom is DONE! Right now I'm laughing so hard, & trying very hard not to choke. I have a storage bench set up in front of the window so the dog can look out (the cat has a smaller seat on the other side of the window that only he can use - too small for the dog). The poor dog went to jump up on the bench, then stopped at the last minute to scratch. The bratty cat was chasing her & crashed right into her tail, then gave the dog's tail a good thrashing. The poor dog just stood there, looking to me for help, but I was laughting too hard to do anything. Poor baby.
