I have a timeshare and I just love. I love it because I only paid $2000 for it and my fees are under $400 a year. I just gave my parents 2wk vacation for a Christmas gift and they are loving it. OK They had to pay the transfer fees and for a guest gift cert, but it cost them about $450 to go to the States for 2 weeks. Mom says the resort is the best and is having a great time.

I am taking the kids to Quebec City for March break this year and all I have to pay is the Quebec Visitor Tax (uner $50) for the week. I don't know where I can go for 7 nights and stay at a resort for under $500.

If I had the money I would buy another week, but I don't. I have my resort for the next 15 yrs (I think, can't remember now). I get one week a year that I can use or put into the bank for up to 3 yrs, and then take all 3 weeks at a time if I want or give away like I dd this year.

I guess it all depends on if you know what to do. If the EX hadn't been duped into buy his before he knew me (cost him $12,000), I would never have bought one for me. Of course after going to the resorts with hm and sitting in on the 90 min presantions to get free stuff from the resort you are stay at, (We once got $100 resort cash, and somethng esle good that I can't remember), I would never have know that they will offer you cheaper resorts. Many people sell their weeks back to the companies and they in turn sell them cheap.

Anyway that is your mini lesson in timeshares. If anyone is interested and wants the website of the sell off place I used just PM me. I don't get anything from them, I just know that I used the company and I did ok.
