I just came in to post trout

haunish: sounds like water retention from either too much salt, (esp in hidden food like pizza or spaghetti sauce), you can also get it from heat, but we don't have that problem right now.

Sunday night and last night (after his afternoon nap - so 5-ish) he's woken up with a raging fever (like over 40 C), and hasn't wanted to play or eat or drink. He's just been vegging and napping in my arms. He can't sit up or stand up becuase he would want to vomit.

This morning he woke up with a fever just over 39, and now he has diaharrea. I phoned my doc, but the receptionist can't get him in until 2:45pm (by which time he's already sound asleep), so now I have to wait until 5 to take him to the walk-in.

My poor little man. I don't panic over these things because I know fevers are fairly normal, but there's definately something not right with him if he's not moving or wanting to move for more than an hour.

Thanks fro the answers guys, will soak her feet some more and get her to drink more water and see if that helps.

Hey guys,
Just popping in, gotta go to bed soon! I have terrible charley-horses in my calves all the time the past couple of days... anyone else have this during pregnancy? I get it every time and it makes me feel like crying. They hit me worst in the middle of the night, and hurt like the dickens!

Just wondering if you're dehydrated? I used to get really really bad cramps when I was on dialysis (cause of the limited liquid intake). I still get them if I don't drink enough. I notice it if I don't drink my 4 litres of water a day (I HATE WATER!!! ), which is what I'm expected to do. Ugh!

yup time to see the dr. any chance he's teething ? some babies have bad reactions?

i wouldn't wait til 5, i'd prolly head down to childrens emerg. that's me tho..

nope, cause mine isn't either and i never even got a notice saying it was shipped., and that right after they gave us the pts.

they did recently notify seek that her dvd she ordered (i think aroudn the same time) would get to her in 2 weeks. they are backlogged again.

Nope, not teething ... he just finished cutting 4 at a time last week. He's ususally just fine when cutting teeth.

Unfortunately, we don't have a childrens emerg. He's playing a little bit this morning, but this afternoon he's going to be a veg. We'll see how he is after lunch. Rest is best right now, and I really want him to have his long afternoon nap.

Oh Reb, your poor Mom. That IS a long life for a kitty, but I bet it still has your mom very upset. Bring her a box of tea and something sweet, and just give her some hugs.

WTG Rose!!

I was so excited to get home last night. The window in the dining room is in and it looks great. I just stood there and stared at it for 5 mins. I can't wait to see the living room window when I get home tonight!!
