Now in those situations where the woman is clearly being an ass, I would not holler or raise my voice, I would just lean in and whisper in her ear in my freaky, very deep, maniacal voice "if you don't stop that child I'm going to hurt you". Then I back away and flash my wide crazy lady grin. Works wonders.

I also am available for early mornings when noisy neighbours have kept everyone up all night. I come dressed in a ratty house coat, knee socks, slippers, curlers in the hair and will talk loudly to myself and loudly sing sea shanty's really badly, for a reasonable hourly rate.

Ricki if that was me I would have stood there calmly after I asked her and she gives me attitude...I would then walk in front of the car and take a picture of the kid doing it with my cellphone, start jotting down her license plate and then using my phone and pretending to call local police but call my house or something...loud enough so she can see me. If she comes up to me and questions...mind your own business woman I am on the phone with the police and have evidence of damage to my car and your details
I do not even let my kids lean on other people's cars...it is not intentional if they do but I am more worried about alarms than anything else. I wouldn't mind seeing a kid playing on my car knowing the mother told them and moved them but she obviously didn't care and I would have done what I said above...those people don't deserve kids...I mean swearing and yelling in front of the kid...thats where you can get Children's Aid Services involved too just to piss her off even more
