Well, I am glad I logged on instead of just putting my tush to bed. Couple of you with questions for me, so I will get right to them.
PetiteFemme -- I wouldn't use the Camillia drops for him until he is 6 or 7 months old. However, the teething tablets should be fine. Most health food places have them, and even Walmart usually has them with their other homeopathic type items. The main brand around here is "Highlands". They are the little tablets made of sweet milk sugar that dissolve pretty instantly. There is no risk of choking on them, and babies really love them. They don't contain any of the belladonna that the Camilla drops have. Here is a little link to a page that shows the product I am talking about. Like I said, I would look at walmart, and if they don't have them call a healthfood or vitamin place, they will probably know what you mean.

Amy -- Did they actually diagnose you with the bronchitis? The main thing in determining if it is contagious is if it is Acute or Chronic Bronchitis. Acute bronchitis is usually brought on by a cold, and lasts for a fairly short time. That kind is not contagious. Chronic bronchitis lasts for a long time. Bronchitis is technically just a "swelling of the bronchia", but the chronic bronchitis is brought on by a virus that is typically very contagious, unlike the acute kind that is just brought on by a simple cold. Chronic Bronchitis quite often leads to pneumonia. As soon as they have a real diagnosis for you, let me know, and what kind of meds they put you on. What are the meds they gave you at your appointment? I have a big dislike for a lot of those prescription cough meds.
BG -- Sorry to hear Tyler is having a hard time with his teething. Monet was great for teething, but Winter would be inconsolable for weeks. You should look for the teething tablets I mentioned to PetiteFemme, they are awesome. You would almost certainly be able to find them at walmart, and they are super cheap, like $3 or $4. They really helped Winter, and she even learned to love the sound of the bottle shaking around when I'd get some out, because she knew that a little relief was coming. I'd avoid too much tylenol or motrin, unless he has an associated fever, or at bedtime. Thats when you really need it.. I remember! LOL

ok got caught up on the posts finally. Glad LOLcat was able to answer PF's as I've never heard of camilla for a baby teething something they must use in Canada or something thats been around since my kids were little. Can't for the life of me remember that far back to what I used lol but then son will be 29 the end of April and daughter will be 31 in July OMG!!! lol so its been a while. So sorry you are all sick Amy hope you shake off that bronchitis quickly it can certainly hang around. Best thing I'd recommend for it would be hot tea and honey lol mom always gave me whiskey and honey worked better but since not everyone would use that and I no longer do as I can't have alcohol with my blood thinners. lol she used to send me to school with a pint jar full of whiskey and honey, school never said a word but they would really raise heck now over it. I had bronchitis a lot growing up but thankfully outgrew it my older sister never did she still suffered every winter from it course it doesn't help her husband smokes like a chimney and never works winters he's a 3 pack a day smoker and won't go outside.
My drs office called today my lab work was a mess with my potassium and sodium low so have been exhausted and throwing up, should start feeling better rapidly now that I've taken so much potassium and increased my sodium intake although that one will take a bit to get back up. The potassium is the one that really kicks my butt get so tired can hardly hold my head up been weak and shaky dh had to help me get a bath and washed my hair for me I just didn't feel up to it but have to go to the dr in the morning early then my friend is coming for a few days. So wish I'd felt better and could of cleaned up the mess a bit but dh did wash the floors and vacuum this weekend plus the bedding is all clean in the spare room so it'll have to do, she said she'd wring my neck if I even tried to clean so lol guess I'd better not. omg lol she's bring crayons and her coloring books lol we got to talking and she found out I like to color too lmao but havent' had any since katrina. Had a huge box of crayons and lots of books before tho. lmao says her dh just shakes his head at her like mine does over her coloring. Hey its very relaxing and not expensive.
Thanks for all the words everyone and Snake thanks for the jokes loved the fireman one too lol even got a laugh out of dh and he has no sense of humor to speak of
